Small things make a difference.
It started with one piece of plastic. Now I've collected 4,732--and counting!
Just because the problem is massive doesn't mean there's nothing we can do. With my videos I hope to share messages that inspire and motivate people.
Eco-conscious teen collects 447 pieces of plastic on Denman Island
Comox Valley Now
An article about the first time I collected plastic in December, 2020. The interview was also featured on the local radio station!
About the series
I focus on small acts which are relatable to the daily aspects of life (going for a walk, doing laundry, making little choices throughout the day). There is so much that affects us and that we affect. Knowing that we have the power to create change simply with a behavioural shift--by reconsidering our habits--is exciting, empowering, and encouraging. :)

Wildlife Camera Project
During my Stage 2 project with the Canadian Conservation Corps (CCC) by the Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF), I volunteered for 3 months. I worked at the Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area (ASCCA) where I set up and monitored wildlife cameras from September to November 2020. This is the result!
Denman Conservancy Association (DCA)
I worked with DCA from December 2020 - April 2021 where I made a promotional video about the role of Beavers in mitigating climate change, and the role of the DCA in preserving habitat for beavers. This video was shown at the local high school’s annual EcoFair to showcase local conservation efforts.
